Description

As a continuation of RAD107, this course explores the principles of electricity, electromagnetism, and the components of the x-ray circuit. Students will examine digital image acquisition and display systems, technological considerations, and networking and communication standards, including the functionality of PACS/MIMPS. The course also emphasizes quality management practices and the professional responsibilities of the radiologic technologist in maintaining image quality and patient safety.
